About Me

Hi there, I’m Sarah! I am a wife, new mom, speech therapist and homesteader in-the-making 🙂 While I do not yet live on a homestead, my husband and I make the most of our suburban yard, foraging local native plants and growing our own herbs and vegetables.

For most of my life I was a city girl, working in large cities around the world. I was a bonified workaholic and sadly did not take good care of myself. One day my body finally gave up on me. I had no choice but to put my life on pause and learn to be well. Ever since then I have come to love living naturally. I can’t wait to share my adventures, wisdom gained through experience, and fun natural living ideas with you!

Whether you are rich or poor, live in a rural or urban setting, are young or old, we can all live life abundantly! Here I aim to inspire you in recognizing the bounty of nature all around us and in learning how to use it. Whether you choose to try one thing learned here or many, I hope this page brings joy to you and yours.
